This slick, Java-based multimedia development tool fell victim to a perfect storm of slow growth in devices and bandwidth, as well as the ubiquity of Micropsoft technology in 2000-2001. Besides securing a US-patent for the unique, performance-enhancing technology, Atlantic Crossing led the commercial efforts across the spectrum, in the process creating trademarks like CrossArtist and dVisible.
