Atlantic Crossing was founded to pursue this market opportunity: the need for small and mid-sized US businesses to have an unusually flexible and fully customizable accounting and business management solution.

That the software was unique and client/server almost before that term was coined helped a good bit. And hurt a good bit. To market something truly groundbreaking is often costly and always difficult.

At the time, no one had ever imported a software application from abroad into the US. But against all odds, Atlantic Crossing secured the developer a multi-year deal for nationwide distribution with a multi-million dollar guarantee.
