Client/Server Integrated Development Environment® - the name of the technology foundation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (née Navision). This IDE was created with the one purpose of making it simple to create powerful accounting and business management applications - that could then be modified to fit specific country, industries or company requirements, without writing code.

When C/SIDE and Navision Financials debuted in 1995, other IDEs typically lacked this flexibility, or they weren't natively client/server. Navision used this foundation to roll out Navision Financials to over 20 countries before its eventual acquisition by Microsoft.
